(For each occupant over two, there’s an additional $10 charge per person per night, limit 5 occupants. Extra charge for a cot).
Call the above telephone # today to reserve your room. Be sure to mention that you are reserving a room for the Red Hat HOOT to get this special room rate. There are only 75 rooms blocked at this special rate and we expect them to go fast. Once these have been booked, rates outside of the block will be $197.00 (+ tax) per night.
Weekend Schedule (times subject to change)
Friday the 24th
• 2-5pm: Registration and Check in.
• 3-5pm: Bring items for tag sale to the Resale section. Drop-offs only today, no sales. (Have an envelope with your name, room number, name of item, and price you want for it pinned with a safety pin on the item. Resale hours will be posted and announced during the weekend. Please bring plenty of small change/bills to pay for your purchases.)
• 6pm: Executive Deli Buffet in the Casco Bay Hall. Cash bar.
• 8-11pm: Music and dancing with José Duddy
Saturday the 25th
• Breakfast on your own
• 10am: Red Hat parade down Congress St. to Monument Square
• Lunch on your own. (Take advantage of this time to see the sites of Portland and the Old Port, go shopping, visit with other Red Hatters, or just stay and enjoy the hotel pool!)
• 6pm: Cocktails and “Bling” Dinner in the Casco Bay Hall. Cash bar. This event is formal dress. Drape yourselves in bling, baubles, and boas till you fall over! A plated dinner will be served consisting of: a salad course; your choice of entrees (beef, fish, or poultry) including sides of
potatoes, vegetables, and rolls and butter; dessert; and coffee or tea.
• 8-11pm: Live entertainment, dancing
Sunday the 26th
• 8am: Farewell Pajama Breakfast Buffet in the Casco Bay Hall
• Noon: Hotel check out
