The Council on Aging of Amesbury MA, held a tea at the Winnekenni Castle on Lake Kenoza in Haverhill, on Augst 12, 2009.  What a lovely place.  Red Hatters, as usual,
had a fine fun time... and looked great with a castle in the backdrop!
Queen Barbara and her Sassy Divas and one Divette
Queen Rita and only two of her Scarlet O'Hatters...the others camera-shy?
Whoever set the place up, did a great job.  Sandwiches were made, teacups put out, lemonade and tea pots on each table. Just Lovely. Pastries were donated by 3 bakeries in Amesbury. Kudos to the COA and their helpers.
The Castle has a mezzanine area, piano, dancefloor and kitchen...Heat in the winter but no A/C in the summer... lovely breezes atop the hill and the 4 foot thick stone walls keep it cool.  Castle was made from rocks "cultivated" on the grounds.
Everyone listening "politely" as Robin shows off her closet's contents.
Mary Ann celebrates her birth month by flipping her colors... Love Love Love the polka dots... and she has red shoes with white polka dots too... who took this picture???
Think twice next time you dig up a rock in your garden...you too could have a castle
Pink Hatter, Sweet Lady B, poses with her Lady Bear and accessories.  Her pink hat was busy being a container for tea cookies!
Trio of Happy Queens, all born in January...BFFs
Top is down and ready to roll down on home after a lovely afternoon with friends and tea!
